Upon your arrival, we will design a course which will focus on your need for vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and functions: what you need to do, how to survive!
One-to-One Homestay English Language courses are the best and most efficient way of learning English. You become absorbed in the language and are able to experience English culture by participating in daily family life as well as studying intensively for as many hours per week as you feel appropriate. This is usually for three, four or five hours per day for five days, but may be more, and include guided project work. You choose the timetable, either an intensive course or a balance of learning with heritage and cultural visits, and sporting activities. Your course will offer flexible tuition by a fully qualified teacher in comfortable accommodation and pleasant surroundings
Your business course will be designed to assist with your own need to communicate in business: how to use your professional or technical vocabulary in whatever you need to do. On arrival, we will agree an individual course plan which will identify the objectives you wish to achieve. This is usually a balance between business and social English. It is often possible to meet with business people from a similar background and to visit their premises.
Leslie Richardson holds an honorary Master of Arts degree from the University of Plymouth, the University of Cambridge Certificate in the Teaching of English as a Foreign Language and the ARELS Certificate of Teaching One to One awarded by Trinity College, London.
